The Daily Massacres
Israel keeps massacring hundreds of people daily in Gaza. If you saw headlines of 58, 150 or 398 people murdered in a single day in London, Paris, NYC, Sydney, Auckland or any Western city—you name it, you'd see everyone in the West shocked & offering any assistance they could. But not for Palestine
Israel continues to massacre dozens to hundreds of people daily in Palestine, while starving the rest
During the ceasefire, Palestinians in Gaza celebrated a very brief reprieve from cruelest daily death and destruction carried out by Israel. However, Israel kept breaking the ceasefire terms and would not move to stage 2 of the ceasefire. Instead, Israel eventually continued reigning hell on Gaza with some of the worst days of the unparalleled cruelty and horror that has been the last 1.5 years – even killing over 400 people in a single day.
The West's apathy in the face of genocide as well as their ongoing political, financial & military support for Israel is stark.
If you saw headlines of 58 or 150 or 398 people murdered in a single day in London, Paris, New York, Sydney, Auckland or any Western city – you name it, you would see everyone in the West shocked. They'd at least talk about how awful such acts are. You'd see many people offering whatever assistance they could provide. You'd see world leaders offering support to whichever country faced such horrific cruelty.
However, if the Israel or the West is behind the killings of hundreds of people every day in other countries such as Palestine, such crimes are muted and subdued by the Western media and Westerners. The West has bombed & invaded countries from Vietnam and Cambodia in South East Asia to Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Palestine, Yemen and other Middle Eastern countries unfriendly to Israel, killing millions.
The mass extinguishing of precious souls, each person a world unto themselves, is just treated as a routine punctuation in the news of the day.
If a country like China was killing dozens or hundreds of Taiwanese people or Tibetan people every single day for the last 1.5 years, the West would not hesitate to quickly demonize such a country. But when Israel commits such atrocities every single day for the last 1.5 years, it gets a free pass and journalists bend over backwards to make every excuse imaginable for it.
In addition to Israel's direct massacres of Palestinians, they also continue to bomb the healthcare infrastructure, restrict aid from entering Gaza and occupy the Gaza Strip. They've now bombed Gaza City's last fully-functioning hospital and are occupying half of the Gaza Strip.

No religion or ethnicity grants you immunity from killing hundreds of innocent people for no reason.
Half of the population of Gaza are children under the age of 18. They were innocent. Their lives had barely begun before they were murdered or lost their entire families. The official death toll in Gaza over the last 1.5 years has now exceeded 50,000 people. That's almost already 1 in 40 of Gaza's previous population of 2.3 million.
The ones who aren't directly killed by bombs & bullets don't have anything of substance to eat, don't have anywhere to live & sleep & give birth except for on cold hard ground beneath flimsy tents or crumbling buildings, don't have anything to do besides looking for water & food and praying that they can get through the next day alive.

"I had dreamed of welcoming my child with joy, warmth and celebration. Instead, he arrived to the sound of bullets and a sky on fire."
The young football-reporter-turned-journalist Abubaker Abed recently answered people's questions on Gaza:
What is that thing you want to know about Gaza that no one tells you?

You can ask. I'll answer👇
It was very boring. It’s like a chicken in a cave waiting to be slaughtered but having the means to live.
— Abubaker Abed (@AbubakerAbedW) March 31, 2025
We first clean them from the blood. We then shower their naked bodies. We do the Ghosol and other recitations. After that, we wrap the body with white shrouds and hold funeral prayers. Finally, we take it to the grave and pray for him/her.

We can’t handle it. It’s traumatising.
Yes, it's very terrifying.

Sacrifice everything you have to stop governments there from financing our genocide. It’s that simple. Go on a global strike and close the roads.

They spend it, finding water and food.

They of course do. We love football so much. They try to play together and have fun by any means.

But most of their time is spent on finding water and food.
It was a time of incomplete happiness. We had a few outlets: Restaurants, stadia, and the sea. We spent most of our time there. But we were denied everything like opportunities and travelling. We were like cut off from the world. It was a life of poisonous honey.

If in the West, we treated each suffering & slaughtered child as our own children, each slaughtered & suffering man and woman as our own brothers and sisters, we would have saved Palestinians a long, long time ago.
On Good Friday, Christians honor Christ's sacrifice for dying for all of our sins. Our biggest sin today is ignoring the suffering of the Palestinians in Christ's homeland as they endure a brutal genocide by the Israeli state, backed by its Western partners.
