Boycott Labor over Australia's complicity in the Israeli genocide on Gaza
I already generally don't vote Labor. But with Labor being in power across all states and territories on mainland Australia, as well as federally, it has gotten particularly cocky and comfortable.
Anthony Albanese has offered tepid condemnation of Israel over the death of an Australian aid worker in Gaza, while not sparing a breath for 35,000+ murdered Palestinians. Under Penny Wong as foreign minister, Australia has cut funding to UNRWA. Australia continues to back Israel in its extermination of the Palestinian people.
Nations are not only required to not participate in or assist with genocide, but actively prevent it.
Labor is not going to do anything if they don't feel threatened.
So Labor needs to know that people will sure as hell remember their actions in 2024 when it comes to the 2025 federal election.
Labor needs to understand that they won't have the support of large swatches of Australians – many of whom are refugees, working class, culturally diverse. Labor especially likes to take these people for granted as their voter base.
We need to scare them with six simple words:
DON'T VOTE LABOR OVER GAZA GENOCIDE
They need to see this plastered all over the country, all over the suburbs, all over campuses, all over the city — all over.
They need to see this unfurled in the weekly protests in the city as well as in the university encampments.
They need to hear this shouted in their ears, from hundreds of thousands of mouths.
Let them know that we know exactly what they are doing in the face of the most brutal ongoing massacre and genocide in the world right now.
