Under the White Mask: A Short Film
In this short film, Congolese artworks voice the poet and author Aimé Césaire’s words: “Colonization is thingification.”
Sharing a short 8 minute film that ties altogether how utterly barbaric and brutal Europe is. It smashes the lies and justifications for colonialism.
It is a narration of part of Aimé Césaire's piece Discourse on Colonialism (1950), with footage of Congolese statues to voice these words.
