Writings and Transcripts for The Burning Spear
I volunteer as a writer, transcriber and proofreader for The Burning Spear, the organ of the African People's Socialist Party (APSP). The Spear has been in print for decades.
In the July 2024 edition, I wrote an article covering the resistance of the Kanak people against the French in New Caledonia:

I also transcribed APSP Chairman Omali Yeshitela's interview with Tucker Carlson from March 2024, published in the July issue too:

I highly recommend the interview:
I've posted a link before to their interview with Glenn Greenwald, but will post it again here for reference:
Full interview: https://rumble.com/v4aitax-system-update-219.html (extended segment starts at 1:02:59. Interview with Chairman Omali Yeshitela and Attorney Leonard Goodman starts at 1:22:47)
Here is the transcript for the interview with Glenn Greenwald, which I did proofreading for:

Past Articles I've Written for The Spear

It's an Honor to Serve Uhuru
Uhuru are ramping up their campaigns especially in the lead up to the trial in September, where the U.S. government is threatening three leaders within the organisation with jail time of 15 years after having raided and attacked their homes and offices.
I will be less active here on my personal site in the meantime, since I continue to do writing, transcribing and proofreading for them.
It is an honor to serve with an organisation that is so committed and dedicated to anti-colonial revolution and liberation, with on-the-ground community projects as well as fierce and unwavering advocacy. It energises me and everyone who works with them. In a recent article that I transcribed for the upcoming August edition, a lawyer for the Chairman said that it is an honor to represent them, which sums up how I feel working with them too.
In a stream posted earlier in the year, The Burning Spear wanted to give recognition for their volunteers and contributors, and also listed me as one of the people who was awarded with an Outstanding Commitment Award:
(my English name is Tracey – I use Lê Thanh Trúc in my political writings)
